OUR SON, HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR

This is our darling son. He is currently playing H-back on the varsity football team, and is looking forward to basketball season starting soon. He is applying to several universities, reminding us that this is his last school year at home. Where does the time go? He's a delightful person. We adore him.

A springtime trip to Salt Creek beach gave us a renewed interest in the low tides and the marine life of the great Northwest. This was Jacob's first encounter with a sea star.

BLUSTERY BEACH

We took a little post-Christmas hike to the Dungeness Spit. Mark, Jen, Freddy, and Bridget enjoyed the view of the lighthouse and the crashing waves. We had a great time, despite the wind of winter. We had never seen so much activity in this water!
